Abstract

This paper presents an exposition of the fundamental elements of Marxist value theory with a mathematical support to criticize the recent interpretation about extra surplus value presented by Rolando Astarita. The main purpose of this work is to provide a theoretic construction that helps other researches on the development of Marxist economic theory and to constructively debate with other Marxist researchers in the search for consensus in Marxist economic theory.
