Abstract

We live a moment of profound deterioration of the material bases that sustain human life. Feminist economics and ecological economics put at the center of the analysis invisible and undervalued subjects, resources and practices, but unavoidable if civilization collapse is to be avoided. The dialogue between them can help to conceptually specify the notions of social metabolism or sustainability, providing analytical and practical keys to social transformation
