Sociedad civil, buena gobernanza y lucha contra la pobreza en la política social neoliberal

Abstract

Neoliberal hegemony discourse promotes a specific social order, in which social policies have an important place. Following the analytical framework of the New humanitarian discourse put forward by Samir Amin (2009), the social neoliberal discourse can be analyzed by the following categories: Civil society, Good governance and Fight against poverty. However, this neoliberal hegemony does not occur without social resistances and it is necessary to propose other kind of counter-hegemonic discourses oriented towards higher levels of justice and social equality
