Abstract
In the last years, a spectacular increase of Foreign Direct Investments along the world is happening. The increase of coalitions and transborder acquisitions are one of the main features that characterizes the world economy and, so, it is the motor of the “globalization process”. However, the impressive global figures hide -alsothe big differences among territories. The developed countries and, inside these, the developed regions, dominate the world map. An example of this territorial concentration of foreign capital in the developed regions is the Spanish economy. In spite of the national and international crises, Madrid has always maintained its attractiveness for the foreign investor. The concentration of this capital in this region is even intensified along the time. Again, a pattern of unequal growth is reproducing. So, the breach among the more and fewer developed regions is increasing
