Abstract

This note seeks to demonstrate that two suppositions assumed by Pasinetti are unsuitable hypotheses. The first is the presumed
economic irrelevance of own rates of self-reproducing goods. The other one is the conceptualisation of labour as a “ultimate factor of production”.
