Agroecología política: transición social hacia sistemas agroalimentarios
Keywords:

This article analyzes the question of social transition in the domain of agroecology. Different schools are characterized and, upon them, we propose a model for agroecological transition. This model opposes to the general trends of global food markets marked by inequality and unsustainability. Innovations and peasant economies are part of our reference for the proposed model. Furthermore, both allow us to justify the need for a political agroecology: the analysis and application over social conditions, institutions and conflicts that come up as a consequence of a support for a food system transition guided by agroecological principles.
