Economía política de las necesidades y caminos (no capitalistas) para su satisfacción sostenible
Keywords:

If we assume the existence of common human needs, then meeting them should be considered as a fundamental right of all human being. In this regard, some authors claim that the lexicon of human rights builds on the grammar of the human needs. According to this suggestion, and by using the institutions, the whole society should lead the task of meeting human needs in an optimal way. Establishing a link between human rights and political economy is a critical issue to ensure this target. This link enables us to assess whether capitalism is able to ensure a decent access to material means of existence to everyone, but without destroying nature.
