Transición socioecologica en ámbitos urbanos metropolitanos: (re)construyendo barrios a escala humana
Keywords:
transition neighborhoods, participatory action research, self-management, sovereingty, emergent urbanismAbstract
In this article we propose an approach based on the participative-research and action methodology, that starts in the definition of a participative technical assessment office that considers the interaction of seven thematic lines: collective management of housing rehabilitation, collective management of public spaces, accessibility and sustainable mobility, food sovereignty, financial and economic sovereignty, energy sovereignty and metabolismo, and socio-environmental training and education. The proposal is connecting social initiatives for sustainability, with a bottom-up approach, as the transition and degrowth movements, and the institutional initiatives, with a top-down approach, which raise the foundations of a new sustainable and collaborative planning with an integrated approach to the urban development.
